In his new role, Robert will take on the responsibility of managing Groundfloor’s diverse investment portfolio while also leading investor education initiatives and building strategic partnerships to further elevate the company’s offerings and overall investor experience.

With more than three decades of expertise as an investment strategist, portfolio manager, and advisor, Robert brings a wealth of experience across global markets, private equity, real estate, and alternative investments. Before joining Groundfloor, he served as Managing Partner at Tier One Capital Advisory, where he guided family offices, foundations, and high-net-worth investors with portfolio and fund management strategies.
Groundfloor’s Co-Founder and CEO, Brian Dally, expressed his excitement about Robert’s appointment, emphasizing the company’s mission to make private market opportunities more accessible to everyday investors. “Groundfloor was founded on the idea of giving individual investors access to opportunities historically reserved for institutions. Over the course of his career, Robert has helped scale investment platforms, grown assets under management by double digits in under a year, and overseen hundreds of millions in real estate transactions. His leadership has also extended to investor relations and marketing for alternative fund managers, with notable achievements that include managing a mutual fund at Cadence Capital Management which grew from $2 million to $300 million and earned a 5-star Morningstar rating.
Robert joins Groundfloor at a significant time in its growth journey. The company has recently expanded its product lineup to give retail investors greater access to real estate-backed and private credit investments. Its Flywheel Portfolio, an automated, hyper-diversified index product, has been a key driver of growth, helping push the user base to more than 280,000. In late 2024, Groundfloor also introduced the first-ever Deferred Pay Residential Transition Loan Bond for institutional investors, underscoring its position as a pioneer in private credit.
