Wedbush Securities, a well-known financial services firm, is pleased to welcome Daniel Shea as Managing Director in its Consumer & Diversified Industries Investment Banking group.

In this role, Shea will help drive the firm’s efforts to grow and deepen its reach in the consumer and diversified sectors, bringing with him years of experience and a proven track record advising consumer-focused companies. Shea joins Wedbush from BTIG, LLC, where he served as Managing Director and was instrumental in shaping and growing the firm’s consumer investment banking group. . With close to two decades of experience, he brings deep knowledge of the specialty retail, e-commerce, branded consumer products, and restaurant sectors.

Earlier in his career, Shea held senior leadership roles at several respected firms, including Keen-Summit Capital Partners, Canaccord Genuity, Sterne Agee-CRT, and Janney Montgomery Scott. Over the years, Shea has been at the forefront of several standout deals including helping spin out Twin Peaks from Fat Brands, guiding the de-SPAC and IPO of Pinstripes, and securing a private convertible financing for FreshRealm.

He’s also offered strategic guidance on standout transactions such as the sale-leaseback and capital raise for Chicken N Pickle, BurgerFi’s acquisition of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Drive Shack’s follow-on equity offering, and the sale of Hampton Forge to Lennox Corporation. “I’m thrilled to be joining a team that really values the consumer space and is focused on helping entrepreneurs during critical stages of their growth,” said Shea.
