What’s truly unique is the flexibility to pay premiums in digital assets and the structuring of policies in both USD and Bitcoin. The policy includes Directors & Officers (D&O) and Professional Indemnity (PI) coverage in USD, while Crime coverage is directly denominated in Bitcoin eliminating currency conversion risks and ensuring policyholders are compensated in the very asset they aim to protect.

“Tim Grant, Chief Executive Officer of Deus X Capital and Chairman of Deus X Pay, shared his excitement about this milestone, highlighting how it represents a turning point for insurance innovation in the digital asset world.”.

“Finding the right insurance coverage has for a long time been a challenge for financial services operators in the crypto space,” he said. ““We’re truly excited to be working with Soter. They really understand the unique challenges our portfolio companies like Deus X Pay face, and they’re stepping up with the kind of smart, forward-thinking insurance solutions this space has needed for a long time.”

By offering traditional coverage with digital asset adaptability, Soter is helping to overcome one of the key barriers to broader institutional participation in the crypto space: adequate and asset-aligned insurance protection.

Henson Orser, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Soter Insure, emphasized the wider significance of the move. “As regulatory frameworks come into focus globally, we’re excited to offer products that not only meet compliance needs but also encourage broader adoption of digital assets.
