Velox Clearing, LLC, a modern, technology-driven clearing firm, has announced the appointment of Christopher Joseph Cook as its new Chief Executive Officer. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services and a deep background in regulatory compliance, Mr. Cook steps into the role with a clear mission: to guide Velox through its next phase of strategic growth while reinforcing the firm’s strong foundation in compliance, operational discipline, and innovation.

Speaking about his new role, Mr. Cook shared his vision for the future:

With a career spanning key leadership roles in compliance and risk management, Mr. Cook brings a wealth of expertise to Velox. Most recently, he served as Chief Compliance Officer at ICE Securities Execution and Clearing, where he led efforts to ensure full adherence to U.S. securities regulations—reducing risk, increasing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across the firm. His previous roles include Chief Compliance Officer at Folio Investments, Inc., where he designed and executed a full compliance and risk management framework, as well as senior-level positions at Evercore Partners and Macquarie Structured Finance.

Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Rutgers University and has completed executive education at the Wharton School of Business.
