Appointed to her role at HSBC in 2024, Oden oversees the bank’s wealth management, private banking, and retail businesses in the U.S. a strategic focus for HSBC as it deepens its commitment to serving globally connected, high-net-worth individuals. Prior to joining HSBC, Oden held executive roles at JPMorgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, UBS, and Morgan Stanley, where she earned a reputation for driving growth and building inclusive leadership teams.
A daughter of first-generation immigrants, Oden is a fierce advocate for education and equity. She currently serves as Chair of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, which provides scholarships and mentorship opportunities to thousands of students attending historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
