Partnering with Mastercard, Visa, and top wallets, we’re driving real-world adoption of next-gen payments across Asia Pacific
Antom, a leading provider of merchant payment and digitization services under Ant International, has launched a first-of-its-kind agentic payment solution, introducing secure APM (Alternative Payment Method) checkout designed for AI-driven transactions. In a major industry milestone, Antom is also one of the first partners to work with Mastercard and Visa to pilot card-based transaction capabilities for AI agents.
As AI agents move into commercial applications, one of their biggest challenges is the ability to complete payments seamlessly and securely. Antom’s new solution addresses this need by combining broad payment method coverage (from digital wallets to cards) with enhanced safeguards, transparency, and user control.

Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the agentic payment solution supports natural, dialogue-based transactions. That means an AI agent can handle both confirmed purchases and conditional, pre-authorized payments like flash sales or budget-based transactions without breaking the flow of conversation. The solution is also now open-sourced on GitHub, signaling Antom’s commitment to collaboration and transparency.
At the heart of the offering is Antom EasySafePay, the industry’s first streamlined APM checkout experience. Unlike traditional methods that require multiple redirects, EasySafePay allows users to connect their digital wallets directly during checkout. Combined with MPC-based AI risk management and mobile security protections, this system strengthens defenses against fraud, phishing, and identity theft, while preserving user privacy.

Antom’s model doesn’t just improve convenience—it sets a new bar for traceability and trust. Each transaction links user intent with verifiable credentials, providing clear authorization trails while giving customers full visibility into how their AI agents act on their behalf.
To further strengthen its ecosystem, Antom is collaborating with Mastercard (via Mastercard Agent Pay) and Visa (via Visa Intelligent Commerce) in Asia Pacific. Together, they’re pioneering tokenized, card-based agentic payments that deliver secure, personalized, and scalable checkout experiences backed by advanced authentication and transaction control tools.

“Agentic payment is a foundational step in allowing AI agents to generate real value in our everyday life,” said Gary Liu, General Manager of Antom, Ant International. “The rise of agentic payments calls for a complete rethinking of how payment systems are designed. By working with partners like Mastercard and Visa, we’re co-building the protocols and frameworks that will make AI-driven commerce smooth, secure, and reliable.”
With this launch, Antom is positioning itself at the forefront of AI commerce—empowering merchants, developers, and financial institutions to embrace the future of payments with confidence.
