As General Counsel at LendingClub, he played a key role in stabilizing the company during a corporate transition, navigating regulatory scrutiny, and guiding LendingClub to become the first fintech to acquire a bank and its bank charter. Most recently, Pace served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a global organization committed to protecting consumers, further reinforcing his commitment to mission-driven consumer-oriented organizations.
