TT Platform Wins Derivatives Trading System of the Year Award

Trading Technologies International, Inc., a global capital markets technology platform services provider, has won the award for Derivatives Trading System of the Year for its TT platform at the FOW International Awards. The recognition, presented at a dinner ceremony in London last night, marked the firm’s third consecutive win in the category at the awards.

The FOW International Awards recognize “the best and brightest innovations in the derivatives industry” and highlight outperformance and achievement. Winners are selected by a panel of independent, expert judges with extensive experience from across the derivatives markets. Among their comments in selecting the platform as the winner of the category were that TT goes “from strength to strength” and is “the derivatives trading platform of choice for so many participants.” Another judge called the TT platform a “best-in-class solution for derivatives.” Another said: “TT continues to be very strong in this category, and I look forward to it evolving further.”

Alun Green, TT’s EVP Managing Director, Futures & Options, said: “As we continue to build on the services we provide across a growing number of asset classes, we remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering best-in-class technology and functionality to the listed derivatives trading community.  We’re excited to soon introduce Cboe equity index options on the TT platform, giving our institutional and professional trader clients the ability to easily take positions in these popular products as a significant first step in our diversification into equity options. We’re grateful to FOW for this recognition once again.”

The platform delivers advanced tools for trade execution and order management, market data solutions, analytics – including the industry’s leading transaction cost analysis (TCA) solution – trade surveillance, risk management and infrastructure services to the world’s leading sell-side institutions, buy-side firms and exchanges.

In September, TT won Technology Vendor of the Year, and the TT platform earned the honor of Trading System of the Year at the FOW Asia Pacific Awards 2024, after the platform won Derivatives Trading System of the Year at the awards in 2023.

TT earned 15 global and regional honors and awards in 2024 for the TT platform, algorithmic trading solution, TCA tool, execution management system (EMS), order management system (OMS), trade surveillance capabilities and market data services.
