Fairway Launches Reward Card for Homeowners with Made Card

Fairway Home Mortgage has announced a new partnership with Made Card to launch the Made for Home Card, a credit card designed to help homeowners save on both everyday purchases and future mortgage costs. Fairway borrowers will be invited to apply for the card beginning this month through select loan officers and branches, with a wider national rollout planned for January 2026.

The Made for Home Card introduces a refreshing twist to traditional rewards programs. Cardholders can earn points simply by making their regular on-time mortgage payments using their existing payment methods without needing to use the card itself. Additional rewards accumulate when homeowners use the card for everyday home-related spending such as improvements, maintenance, furnishings, as well as essential expenses like gas, groceries, and utilities. The card comes with no annual fee, aiming to make it an accessible option for households looking to maximize their spending power.

What truly distinguishes the Made for Home Card is how the rewards can be redeemed. For the first time, Fairway borrowers can apply their earned points toward reducing closing costs on future Fairway refinances or home purchases. This innovative feature is particularly timely for homeowners who feel locked into higher interest rates today but want greater flexibility and fewer costs when refinancing in the future.

Beyond mortgage-specific benefits, cardholders can redeem points for more traditional rewards as well, including cash back and gift cards. The card also offers unique options such as APR buydowns, giving homeowners an added way to ease monthly expenses and manage their financial stability more effectively.

The Made for Home Card reflects the shared mission of Fairway Home Mortgage and Made Card, a fintech company focused on simplifying the financial side of homeownership. While Made Card manages and operates the credit card program, Fairway serves as the distribution and marketing partner. The Made Essential Visa® Signature Preferred Card is issued by Lead Bank under license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.

Mike Blake, President of Capital Markets at Fairway Home Mortgage, highlighted the significance of the partnership, noting that the program reinforces Fairway’s commitment to helping customers make homeownership more affordable. By rewarding consistent mortgage payments and everyday home expenses, Fairway aims to give borrowers meaningful savings on future loans.

This initiative not only differentiates Fairway’s offerings but also creates a long-term connection with borrowers as they navigate the financial responsibilities of owning a home.
