The premier blockchain and cryptocurrency event in Switzerland is back with two days of in-depth conversations and investigation of the future of blockchain.
This summer’s Crypto Valley Conference (CVC) will take place again thanks to the Crypto Valley Association (CVA), a significant global ecosystem for blockchain and cryptographic technology. The main event will take held in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, from June 1 to 2, 2023.
More than 1000 people from the startup and business sector will attend the two-day immersion conference, which is supported by IEEE and in conjunction with Innosuisse. The Crypto Valley Conference, which is already in its sixth year and has become synonymous with the Swiss blockchain ecosystem, will once more bring together the most important figures in the worldwide blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.
The program will address a wide range of themes in technology, economics and finance, and regulation with more than 60 speakers scheduled. Pascal Gauthier, from Ledger, Marieke Flament, from NEAR, Teana-Baker Taylor, from Circle, Frederick Gregaard, from the Cardano Foundation, and Dominic Williams, from Dfinity are some of the keynote speakers. Speakers from companies including Coinbase, Kraken, CME Group, Nasdaq, Bitcoin Suisse, BitGo, Messari, Bullish, Kaiko, Youhodler, Fireblocks, and Sygnum will also be present. This year’s discussion themes will reflect the present condition of the sector and feature, among other stimulating subjects, legislation, institutional adoption, sustainability, risk management, cryptocurrency derivatives, cryptocurrency venture capital, gaming, AI, privacy, and DeFi.
The conference, which is being held in partnership with Lucerne University, will have a strong academic focus and include a day of specialized, subject-focused masterclasses led by some of the most illustrious organizations in the sector, including CME Group, AON, Messari, the Cardano Foundation, MME, and Cryptix, among others. Risk management in Web3, crypto derivative trading, and crypto security will all be covered in-depth, and attendees will walk away with practical takeaways they can use in their own projects.
Some of the most creative startups from the Crypto Valley will pitch at the CVC23 Startup Competition on the first day of the conference. The professional panel of judges will have a difficult time narrowing down the top 10 finalists because there are over 150 companies that have applied for the competition. These finalists will get the opportunity to present their products on the conference stage and compete for lucrative prizes and cash.
Networking has always been an important component of CVC, and it will be prominently included throughout the two-day event this year. There will be plenty of chances to socialize, with the event’s culmination being the infamous sunset networking boat ride.
President of the Crypto Valley Association Emi Lorincz commented on the gathering, saying: “Since its beginning, the Crypto Valley Conference has brought together the strongest, steadiest, and most important minds of the Swiss and international crypto ecosystem. Although the market is continuously shifting, one thing is constant: technology is more advanced than ever, and innovation is blossoming everywhere. Through our Start-up Competition, we maintain the CVC tradition of exhibiting the most recent initiatives while also providing attendees with high caliber, renowned speakers. We’ll explore fascinating subjects including the future of bitcoin, privacy, market-making, liquidity availability, sustainability, and much more. The Crypto Valley Conference is a fantastic blend of in-depth networking and high-caliber educational sessions that feeds our community. In June, we can’t wait to meet you.
