Diane brings a deep well of experience to her new role, shaped by more than 25 years in the insurance industry. Throughout her career, she’s held key executive positions focused on risk management, strategy, and corporate governance. She also understands the unique needs of community banks, having recently served on the board of First Financial Northwest Bancorp prior to its acquisition earlier this year experience that will serve her well in this next chapter.

Diane’s professional journey began in 1992 at Farmers New World Life Insurance Company, where her dedication and leadership quickly stood out. Over the years, she climbed the ranks, ultimately serving as Chief Risk Officer and then President roles that reflected both her deep expertise and her ability to lead with vision. Before retiring in 2019, Diane also brought her talents to Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. as Regional Chief Risk Officer for Global Life North America, where she added a global lens to her already strong foundation in actuarial science and strategic planning.

Diane’s academic journey laid a strong foundation for her career earning a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by an MBA from the University of Washington. As a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries,Diane is passionate about making a difference beyond the boardroom. She currently co-chairs 5050 Women on Boards of Greater Seattle, and has previously lent her time and leadership to Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County both roles that reflect her deep commitment to creating stronger, more inclusive communities.
