This new funding brings 1Kosmos’ total to over $72 million, building on a $15 million Series A. The investment comes at a time when cybercriminals are increasingly using impersonation tactics from sophisticated hacker groups to state-sponsored “shadow IT” workers to breach organizations through vulnerable account recovery processes.
1Kosmos tackles these threats head-on with live biometrics, verified identity, and phishing-resistant passwordless authentication stopping attackers before they can get in.

Our platform can be deployed in just hours to start protecting systems right away.”
The funding will fuel product innovation, expand 1Kosmos’ global footprint across North America, EMEA, and APAC, and strengthen integrations with leading identity and security platforms, including IAM, CIAM, PAM, and zero trust solutions.

- Becoming the only full-service Kantara-certified credential service provider with FedRAMP High authorization — qualifying it for the U.S. government’s most sensitive workloads.
- Winning a 10-year, $194.5 million blanket purchase agreement, alongside Carahsoft, to provide next-generation identity proofing for Login.gov, the authentication service used by dozens of U.S. federal agencies.
With growing demand for identity-first security, 1Kosmos is positioning itself as a critical player in the fight against cyber impersonation.
