Vouched Raises $17 Million Series A to Scale KYA Platform

Vouched secures Series A to scale KYA platform, building stronger trust and smarter verification for both AI agents and people

Vouched, a leader in AI-powered identity and agent verification, has announced the successful closing of its Series A funding round, raising $17 million led by Spring Rock Ventures. This marks an exciting new chapter for the company as it doubles down on its mission to set the standard for trust in both human and autonomous agent ecosystems.

The funding comes on the heels of the launch of KnowThat.ai, an Agent Reputation Directory that’s quickly gaining traction across industries like e-commerce, digital marketplaces, and highly regulated sectors. Part of Vouched’s “Know Your Agent” (KYA) suite, the platform goes beyond traditional identity verification by managing the full lifecycle of both human and AI agents. From onboarding and credentials to continuous compliance and behavior monitoring, KYA uses AI and advanced analytics to ensure that agents are trustworthy, secure, and compliant.

“Our Series A is about scaling KYA to meet the needs of a rapidly changing digital world,” said Peter Horadan, CEO of Vouched. “Trustworthy autonomous agents aren’t just a future vision they’re becoming a present-day necessity. With this funding, we’re accelerating our ability to provide that trust at scale for our partners, customers, and the communities we serve.”

The KYA suite also sets a new benchmark for transparency and interoperability, supporting open frameworks like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and offering developer-friendly APIs, as well as a turnkey MCP-Identity server. This allows enterprises to easily integrate Vouched into both new and legacy systems, giving them the tools to securely manage the identities and actions of autonomous agents.

Clients are already seeing real impact. “We’re in a new world when it comes to fraud and identity,” said Andrew Stone, SVP of Fraud and Financial Crimes at BHG Financial. “Vouched has been a game-changer for us. They don’t just deliver technology they deliver confidence. Their adaptive, future-proof identity verification gives us the freedom to focus on growing our business.”
