Easy Apply is a new pathway that allows families to provide consent to directly access their IRS data and documents and skip all redundant tax-related questions on financial aid applications.

Families who opt to go through Easy Apply will be able to skip tax-related questions and pull data straight from the IRS, through the partnership with TaxStatus. The integration is reducing application time in School and Student Services (SSS,) VenturEd’s premier financial aid software by more than 50%.

Since its rollout on September 2, over 3,500 families have gone through the Easy Apply process in SSS so far.

Additionally, VenturEd Solutions and TaxStatus have launched their new K-12 tuition assistance estimator, the AffordAbility Calculator, which is able to demonstrate a family’s eligibility for K-12 tuition assistance based on their income level and historical eligibility of similar families with just a few clicks.
