SEDA Experts LLC, a leading provider of financial expert witness services, has announced the appointment of Dr. Andrew Hildreth as Managing Director, further strengthening the firm’s depth in economic and damages expertise.

Dr. Hildreth brings more than 30 years of experience delivering rigorous economic and statistical analysis in complex litigation, regulatory investigations, and international arbitration. He is widely recognized for his work in antitrust and competition cases, securities litigation, class actions, and financial services disputes, with particular expertise in damages estimation, econometrics, statistical sampling, and event studies.

Peter Selman, Managing Partner of SEDA Experts, highlighted the significance of the appointment, noting that Dr. Hildreth is a highly respected economist and a proven damages expert with a long track record in high-stakes matters.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hildreth has served as an expert witness in U.S. federal and state courts, the English High Court as a Part 35 expert, European courts, and international arbitration tribunals. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including banking and financial services, energy, transportation, technology, pharmaceuticals, insurance, and consumer goods. He has worked on matters involving cartel behavior, abuse of dominance, securities disclosure, market efficiency, wage-and-hour disputes, and complex commercial litigation.

Before joining SEDA Experts, Dr. Hildreth held senior leadership and equity partner roles at global economic and financial consulting firms, advising clients and legal teams on some of the most complex and consequential disputes. His work often involves building sophisticated econometric models and counterfactual analyses to assess liability, causation, and damages.

In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Hildreth has a distinguished academic background. He has held faculty and research positions at institutions including the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Oxford, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Essex. A Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, he has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on econometrics, labor economics, and applied microeconomic analysis.

Dr. Hildreth holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics with First Class Honors from City University of London.
