Republic’s CEO, Daniel Liu, emphasized that obtaining an OTCQB listing with DTC eligibility significantly elevates the company’s visibility in the world’s largest capital market. He noted that this new positioning marks an important step forward in Republic’s long-term capital markets strategy, enabling greater participation from both retail and institutional investors in the United States.

The new listing is expected to expand Republic’s reach and offer smoother access for U.S. investors who seek convenient trading options. Liu added that this milestone strengthens the company’s ability to connect with a global investment community while laying the groundwork for future market expansions and financing opportunities.

At the core of Republic’s business model is the integration of treasury operations with blockchain infrastructure. The company acquires ETH and locks it into validator nodes, each requiring 32 ETH, to generate attestations—cryptographic signatures that validate information on the Ethereum blockchain. This model aligns with Ethereum’s 2022 shift from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake, a transition that moved the network away from energy-intensive mining and toward a more efficient, software-driven validation framework.

This shift allows Republic to operate with minimal physical infrastructure, enabling an asset-light business model that reduces overhead and operational risks. By avoiding dependence on heavy equipment or large facilities, the company can instead focus its resources on innovation, growth, and expanding its validator infrastructure. The liquid nature of ETH offers additional resilience, giving Republic the flexibility to navigate market swings and maintain financial stability while participating in an asset class with long-term appreciation potential.

Republic believes its combined model—an ETH-backed treasury, validator operations, and attestation services—creates a triple-engine growth strategy designed to generate diversified revenue while maintaining disciplined risk exposure. Even amid market volatility, the company sees this approach as a strong foundation for long-term value creation, positioning it at the forefront of blockchain-powered financial infrastructure.
