By using Avalanche’s high-performance network, Re is making it easier for investors to tap into fully collateralized, compliant financial products that are rooted in real-world insurance markets.

The new products offer investors a way to participate in regulated insurance markets in a safe, permissioned onchain environment. reUSD (Basis-Plus) generates yield from T-bills and delta-neutral ETH strategies, while reUSDe (Insurance Alpha) is backed by fully collateralized insurance lines in the U.S., including homeowners, auto, and workers’ compensation. Both are designed with transparency, liquidity, and institutional compliance in mind.
“Institutional investors are searching for transparent, sustainable ways to earn yield, and we see reinsurance as DeFi’s most exciting new category,” said Karn Saroya, CEO of Re. “By launching on Avalanche, we can deliver real-world returns with all the speed and flexibility blockchain offers. And with the Re Points Program, early participants can share in the upside of this growing ecosystem.”
The Re Points Program rewards users who engage with the ecosystem, whether by allocating to reUSD and reUSDe through Re’s dApp or by participating in liquidity pools like Pharaoh Exchange and Blackhole Curve. Points earned now can be redeemed for future rewards, giving early adopters an extra incentive to get involved.

Re’s products fit naturally within Avalanche’s growing ecosystem of professional-grade DeFi applications.” Through partnerships with Pharaoh Exchange, Blackhole, Ethena, and Pendle Finance, investors can explore flexible trading strategies, access liquidity, and leverage composable onchain infrastructure — all while staying compliant with regulatory standards.
“Avalanche is an ideal platform for bringing real-world asset strategies to life,” said Eric Kang, Head of DeFi at Ava Labs. “Re is showing how regulated financial products can thrive on blockchain, opening doors for institutional adoption and new opportunities for the wider community.”
By connecting fully collateralized insurance products with Avalanche’s high-speed network, Re is helping create a more connected financial ecosystem — one that combines the reliability of traditional markets with the innovation and efficiency of decentralized finance.
