Piper Sandler Companies, a leading investment bank, has welcomed Dan Bass as a managing director within its financial services investment banking group. Based in Texas, Bass will play a key role in strengthening the firm’s M&A advisory efforts across the region.

With more than two decades of investment banking experience, Bass brings a strong track record to Piper Sandler. He previously served as a managing director at Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC, and before that held senior roles at FBR Capital Markets and Carson Medlin Investment Bankers where he consistently led M&A activity across Texas. Earlier in his career, he served as senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Compass Bancshares, Inc. Bass holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and a Master of Science in Information Management from Marymount University.
