Broadridge Financial Solutions, a global fintech leader, has been selected by Merck to implement Swift’s new Instant Cash Reporting service through Broadridge’s Swift Service Bureau (SSB) and SCORE+ platforms. The solution provides Merck with real-time, on-demand access to balance and transaction data across more than 400 accounts globally, transforming corporate treasury operations and streamlining liquidity management.

Broadridge’s Swift Service Bureau has a proven track record in delivering fast, reliable access to the Swift network for payments, securities, derivatives, and corporate actions, ensuring efficient transaction throughput and proactive workflow control. Instant Cash Reporting, part of Swift’s Corporate Evolution initiative, moves beyond traditional next-day reporting, enabling real-time visibility into corporate accounts. Broadridge has been a key contributor to this initiative, building on its long-standing expertise, including pioneering ISO 20022 migration services for corporates since 2007.

Johann Lee, Principal Expert at Merck, commented, “Broadridge’s SCORE+ platform and Swift Service Bureau provide a single, standardized channel for real-time account data from our banking partners, enhancing cash management and improving our payment processing experience.” With this solution, Merck can retrieve information from up to 1,000 accounts in a single API call, replacing complex, bank-specific implementations and handling roughly 900,000 intraday reports annually with significantly improved efficiency.
