“With laws and regulations constantly evolving worldwide, Friedrich’s combined experience in both the public and private sectors will play a vital role,” Novogratz explained. “His expertise will help us expand Galaxy’s reach and shape the future of digital assets and AI.”

Friedrich brings an impressive track record, having served in top legal roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he led global legal, compliance, and government affairs, and at Chevron as Chief Corporate Counsel. He’s also been a partner at leading law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Boies, Schiller & Flexner, representing multinational corporations in high-stakes investigations and litigation. Novogratz expressed his gratitude, noting, “Andrew’s steady leadership and deep commitment to Galaxy’s mission have helped shape the company from the very beginning. We thank him for his service and wish him the best in his next chapter.”
