Autel Energy has announced the U.S. launch of a new configuration of its MaxiCharger AC Single, marking an important step forward in making EV charging more accessible and commercially viable. Designed for large-scale destination, workplace, hospitality, fleet, and multi-family residential deployments, the new configuration comes factory-integrated with the Nayax Uno Mini payment device, allowing drivers to pay directly at the charger using credit cards no app or registration required.
The launch reflects Autel Energy’s broader strategy to deliver interoperable, payment-ready, and scalable EV charging solutions tailored to the North American market. By embedding payments directly into the charger without altering its physical design or installation footprint, Autel enables operators to adopt the new model seamlessly across existing sites, retrofit programs, and new construction projects.

This announcement builds on the strategic partnership between Autel Energy and Nayax, first revealed in August 2025. Under that agreement, Nayax’s payment technology is expected to be embedded in up to 100,000 Autel EV chargers deployed across North America and Europe by the end of 2026. The collaboration highlights a shared vision to remove friction from EV charging through scalable, customer-friendly infrastructure.
The updated MaxiCharger AC Single retains the same architecture and performance profile as the existing model while adding embedded card payment functionality. It supports adjustable output up to 12 kW, smart dynamic load balancing for large deployments, and industry standards such as ISO 15118 Plug & Charge and OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1. Operators also benefit from a five-year standard warranty and a design lifespan exceeding a decade, reinforcing the charger’s long-term value.

With the integration of the Nayax Uno Mini, the charger now supports contactless EMV payments, NFC wallets, RFID access, and closed-loop payment options for fleets. This enables immediate monetization of charging assets while offering drivers a simple, app-free experience particularly important for public and destination charging environments.
According to Aaron Greenberg, Chief Strategy Officer at Nayax, embedding the Uno Mini directly into the MaxiCharger platform delivers a turnkey solution that is ready for large-scale deployment across North America. He emphasized that the partnership is focused on enabling smarter, more scalable EV charging with fewer barriers for both operators and drivers.

Operational efficiency is another key focus of the new configuration. The MaxiCharger AC Single supports rapid commissioning through Autel’s digital platform, remote monitoring and diagnostics, and multiple connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Wi-SUN. These features help operators maintain high uptime across distributed networks and multi-site portfolios.
Michelle Luo, Chief Revenue Officer at Autel Energy, noted that the new configuration brings payment capabilities into the AC Single platform without sacrificing openness or flexibility. She emphasized that Autel’s goal is to simplify the charging experience for drivers, fleets, and operators alike making charging faster, more intuitive, and easier to deploy at scale.
