Empowering Tomorrow: GoTo AI Sparks Indonesia’s Digital Transformation

The largest digital ecosystem in Indonesia, has officially launched GoTo AI, a long-term Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation initiative that will develop and integrate the most recent AI technology throughout the GoTo ecosystem.

The announcement coincides with the Company’s launch of “Dira by GoTo AI,” the first-ever AI-enabled fintech voice assistant in Bahasa Indonesia. Dira is presently accessible to a restricted number of users on the GoPay app and will be expanded before being made available on the Gojek app in the future.

Dira by GoTo AI is introduced

Dira, which is a contraction of Dikte Suara (voice dictation), has been developed to improve the overall user experience. It allows users to more easily discover the features of the GoPay app and complete a variety of tasks more quickly by using voice commands in Bahasa Indonesia.

Features:

  • Users can complete the same duties with fewer steps. For instance, social health insurance (BPJS) payments are typically made by accessing the “insurance bills” page, which necessitates three clicks and several scrolls. This page can be accessed in a single step by using a voice command with Dira.
  • Dira also streamlines the navigation process within the GoPay app, allowing users to more easily discover new features and functions by eradicating the need for manual typing or searching.
  • Dira will increase the accessibility of AI’s benefits by not substantially increasing the size of the relatively lightweight GoPay app. This allows it to be used on all types of mobile phones, including those with limited capacity, at no cost.
  • Users can access Dira on the GoPay app by tapping on the microphone icon located in the upper right corner of the main page. Users will be able to directly issue voice commands regarding a variety of subjects, such as paying electricity bills, transferring money, purchasing phone credit, changing their PIN, and more.
  • Users will continue to be obligated to authenticate transactions using biometric verifications, such as facial recognition or fingerprints, in order to ensure increased safety and security. Users will be unable to finalize any transactions without verification.
  • Dira is a critical innovation in the GoTo AI roadmap, and the Company will continue to develop it as it improves the AI capabilities of the GoTo ecosystem. The roadmap is organized around three primary objectives: 1) the development of a more convenient and seamless user experience, 2) the reinforcement of safety across platforms, and 3) the enhancement of AI capacity and capability across GoTo.
