According to Mark Notarainni, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Intuit’s Consumer Group, over 75% of American households earn less than $100,000 annually, and more than half are managing revolving debt. He emphasized that personal finance can often feel overwhelming, but Intuit’s AI-driven platform aims to change that by removing the tedious parts of money management. “We are automating the tedium out of finances, empowering consumers to spend less time wondering, worrying, or doing, and more time confidently living their best lives,” said Notarainni. He added that the combination of TurboTax and Credit Karma enables users to make smarter financial decisions, helping them find more money faster and easier than ever before.

The new platform offers done-for-you experiences through the synergy of Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence (AI+HI). It provides personalized financial guidance that anticipates user needs, offering smart solutions for credit building, reward optimization, debt pay-down, and wealth creation. Through advanced AI-driven assistants and expert collaboration, the system ensures seamless management of financial activities while minimizing manual effort. The integration of local AI concierges and AI-powered tax experts further strengthens user confidence by providing accessible and trustworthy financial support throughout the year.

Intuit’s latest innovations also focus on practical financial empowerment. Credit Spark, for instance, allows members to turn everyday payments like rent or phone bills into credit-building activity—without fees or additional debt. Meanwhile, Credit Karma’s My Cards feature enables users to manage all their credit cards in one place and automatically receive recommendations to maximize rewards and prevent benefits from expiring. The upcoming Debt Assistant uses AI to analyze a member’s finances and create personalized repayment plans, while the Tax Assistant makes tax filing a continuous, stress-free process that automates up to 80% of the filing by year-end.

TurboTax is also expanding its local and virtual presence by offering new physical stores and expert offices across the U.S. These initiatives are part of Intuit’s effort to make professional tax help more accessible to customers who prefer in-person guidance. The AI-powered expert matching feature ensures that users are paired with the right tax specialist for their unique needs, providing both convenience and confidence during tax season.

Recognizing that cash flow is one of the biggest financial challenges for many Americans, Intuit has introduced multiple ways for users to access money faster. For example, the Refund Advance feature allows customers to get up to $4,000 instantly once their IRS refund is approved, while TurboTax Expert Full Service customers can access up to $10,000 immediately. Additionally, customers who choose a Credit Karma Money account can receive their refunds up to five days early and earn higher interest on their savings.
