The team behind Taoshi, a leader in decentralized finance, has announced the upcoming launch of 0xMarkets in partnership with General TAO Ventures, an innovator in decentralized AI, and contributors from the broader Bittensor ecosystem. The platform is being developed to redefine blockchain-based trading by providing permissionless access to some of the most powerful and liquid financial markets, including crypto, currencies, and commodities.

At the core of 0xMarkets is Bittensor’s distributed AI architecture, which powers a new subnet called Cartha. Cartha is designed to coordinate liquidity through decentralized participation, where miners are incentivized to act as liquidity providers. This innovative approach ensures liquidity is allocated dynamically to synthetic asset pairings, creating a more transparent and resilient trading environment.

The launch of 0xMarkets aims to remove long-standing barriers to global trading. Traditional systems often rely on intermediaries and complex infrastructure, which limit access and create inefficiencies. By lowering these barriers, the platform makes it easier for individuals in eligible jurisdictions to trade, hedge, or provide liquidity using streamlined tools that prioritize fairness and accessibility.

Liquidity providers on the platform will also benefit from an enhanced incentive model, including token rewards, which are designed to strengthen participation and drive ecosystem growth. This structure not only encourages broader engagement but also ensures the system remains sustainable and rewarding for those who contribute.

Speaking about the project’s vision, Arrash Yasavolian, CEO of Taoshi, highlighted that centralized platforms have for too long imposed hidden fees, restrictive access, and unfair terms on users. With 0xMarkets, the goal is to dismantle that system and replace it with an open, transparent, and permissionless model one that gives more people the opportunity to participate in global financial markets on equitable terms.
