OneStream’s SensibleAI Agents to integrate with Microsoft’s trusted cloud and productivity platforms, transforming how Finance teams work
At Microsoft Ignite 2025, OneStream , a leader in enterprise finance management, announced a major strategic alliance with Microsoft marking a pivotal moment for the future of AI in finance. With this partnership, both companies are signaling a shared mission: to help global finance teams move faster, work smarter, and make decisions with more accuracy by seamlessly blending financial intelligence with Microsoft’s everyday workplace tools.

OneStream’s SensibleAI™ Agents already known for their ability to replicate financial reasoning and accelerate complex analysis will now be embedded directly into Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Excel, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. The idea is simple: meet finance professionals where they already work. Instead of switching systems to run forecasts, generate reports, or search through financial documents, they’ll be able to do it instantly from within the Microsoft tools they use every day.
This includes bringing OneStream’s financially intelligent agents into Copilot so users can search, analyze, visualize, and explore verified financial and operational data without leaving their Microsoft environment. Within Teams, finance teams will be able to pull insights from documents and data using natural language, turning what used to be long analyst workflows into seconds-long interactions. Even Excel users will see their spreadsheets evolve through AI-powered forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling—making the most trusted tool in finance even stronger.
Because OneStream is built entirely on Microsoft’s technology stack and runs on Azure, the integration is deep, secure, and scalable for global organizations. According to Tom Shea, OneStream’s CEO and President, this partnership represents a new era of finance. “By embedding our financially intelligent SensibleAI Agents into Microsoft Teams and Excel, we’re putting AI-powered insights and automation directly into the hands of decision-makers,” he said. “Finance leaders now have the intelligence they need to steer the business forward, no matter the situation.”

Microsoft shares this vision. Katy Brown, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, emphasized the company’s commitment to helping organizations achieve more with AI. She described the collaboration with OneStream as a natural evolution, combining Microsoft’s ecosystem with OneStream’s finance expertise to deliver greater accuracy, agility, and impact for CFOs and finance teams around the world.
Together, the two companies will focus on deep technical integration, ongoing innovation, joint go-to-market efforts, and streamlined procurement through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. By making OneStream’s SensibleAI Agents available through MACC, enterprises will be able to adopt and scale AI-driven finance capabilities more easily than ever.
