Integration of NEAR Protocol with the MARBLEX ‘WARP Bridge’

A strategic alliance was established by NEAR Foundation and MARBLEX, a division of Netmarble Corp. that specializes in blockchain technology. As the first protocol to interface with WARP Bridge, NEAR Protocol aspires to grow together with the gaming industry with a focus on the Korean Hub.

To further develop the Web3 ecosystem, NEAR Foundation and MARBLEX, a blockchain-focused division of Netmarble Corp., have established a strategic alliance.

NEAR Foundation and MARBLEX seek to accomplish mutual growth by joining via WARP Bridge to enable interactive collaboration, boosting worldwide joint marketing events, and enhancing brand recognition through the signing of this strategic agreement.

First to integrate with MARLBEX via WARP Bridge will be NEAR Protocol. This will result in the onboarding of both current and upcoming MARBLEX games. With the innately high user convenience of NEAR Protocol, users will be able to enjoy a variety of games and contents. In order to grow the Web3 ecosystem, the two businesses therefore intend to work together constantly.

MARBLEX, a blockchain-powered subsidiary of Netmarble Corp., a reputable mobile game developer and publisher with over 6,000 experts from around the world, has signed a business agreement with NEAR Protocol. By offering crucial services like a cryptocurrency wallet, a decentralized exchange, token staking, and an NFT marketplace, MARBLEX seeks to market the highest caliber blockchain games.

“We, MARBLEX, expect the NEAR Protocol’s core narrative to play a pivotal role in bolstering the overall MBX 3.0 ecosystem,” said Junki Moon, Director of MARBLEX’s Business Division. “We will continue to hold our position as forerunners in the constantly changing environment of international blockchain trends by cooperatively integrating the NEAR Foundation’s considerable technological competence with the MBX ecosystem’s content prowess.”

“This partnership with MARBLEX will be a crucial milestone in promoting various use cases based on NEAR’s Blockchain Operating System (BOS),” said Robbie Lim, GM, Partners and International at the NEAR Foundation. “We will continuously enhance the gaming ecology of NEAR Protocol as well as entice numerous users to engage the Web3 scene by onboarding high-quality MBX content.”

This strategic alliance benefited greatly from the involvement of NEAR Korea Hub, which manages commercial development in Asia and Korea. Despite coming to the Korean market somewhat late, NEAR Protocol has emerged as a major participant this year thanks to the integration of Kakao Games’ web3 subsidiaries BORA and WEMADE as well as Netmarble’s MARBLEX.

“NEAR Protocol provides user experience similar to Web2 using Fast Auth account abstraction feature, greatly lowering the initial entry barrier to Web3,” said Scott Lee, general manager of the NEAR Korea Hub. “We’ll keep looking for opportunities to collaborate with top domestic businesses, including MARBLEX, a division of Netmarble, to create a user-centered ecosystem where customers can simply access all the services.”
