American Beacon Partners, a diversified asset management platform with nearly four decades of experience and more than 30 affiliated and independent manager partnerships, has announced a new strategic partnership with Pender Capital Management, LLC. The partnership brings together American Beacon’s extensive distribution capabilities with Pender Capital’s specialized expertise in commercial real estate credit.

Under the agreement, American Beacon will lead distribution efforts for the Pender Real Estate Credit Fund, leveraging its established presence across the wealth management landscape. The collaboration is designed to expand investor access to Pender Capital’s real estate credit strategy at a time when demand for alternative, income-focused investments continues to grow.

The Pender Real Estate Credit Fund is structured as a closed-end interval fund focused on commercial real estate debt. The strategy targets short-term, senior secured commercial bridge loans and seeks to benefit from current market dynamics, including reduced traditional lending activity and increased borrower demand for flexible, short-term financing solutions. These conditions, the firms noted, create attractive opportunities for well-capitalized private lenders.

The partnership underscores American Beacon Partners’ ongoing commitment to offering differentiated investment solutions while supporting experienced, specialized managers across alternative asset classes.
