ACAMS, the largest international membership organization for anti-financial crime (AFC) professionals, has announced the promotions of Angela Salter from Chief Product Officer to Chief Strategy & Partnerships Officer and Shilpa Arora from Head of Anti-Financial Crime Products and Solutions to Chief Product Officer. The strategic shift strengthens ACAMS’ position as a category leader in providing best-in-class training, always-on intelligence, and impactful events to the financial crime community.

In the newly created position of Chief Strategy & Partnerships Officer, Salter will lead organizational strategy, the development of partnerships and strategic alliances, industry intelligence, corporate development, the expansion of ACAMS content capabilities and the teams leading ACAMS flagship media publications – ACAMS Moneylaundering.com and ACAMS Today. Salter joined ACAMS over a decade ago with extensive experience in leadership, strategic business and international market development roles with some of the world’s foremost information services and digital media organizations.

As Chief Product Officer, Arora will be responsible for driving innovation and leading the product vision across the organization. Arora has been instrumental in recent product successes such as the launches of the Certified Anti-Fraud Specialist (CAFS) and the Next Generation CAMS certifications. Arora joined ACAMS as AML Director, EMEA in January 2020. Before ACAMS, she served as Head of Financial Crime Prevention for the Retail and Business Bank in Santander UK.
