Through this first-of-its-kind integration, Wink’s face and palm payment technology is embedded into the Clover platform, combining identity, payments, and intelligence into a single, seamless checkout experience. The result is faster transactions, stronger security, and more personalized customer interactions without adding complexity for merchants.
The new solution allows customers to pay using biometric recognition such as palm, face, or voice, removing the need for physical cards or devices. Behind the scenes, transactions are secured using AI-powered biometrics and a secure token vault, ensuring sensitive biometric data is never stored alongside payment credentials. The integration will initially roll out to quick-service restaurants, sports venues, and retail locations, with broader availability planned throughout 2026.
“The future of commerce is the unification of payment and identity,” said Sanjay Saraf, SVP and Global Chief Product Officer, Merchant Solutions at Fiserv. “By embedding Wink’s biometric technology into Clover, we’re making advanced security and personalization accessible to small and mid-sized businesses, helping them deliver better customer experiences and grow with confidence.”

For merchants, the collaboration opens the door to faster checkouts, built-in loyalty enrollment, and even age-restricted commerce without manual ID checks. For consumers, it means frictionless, contactless payments that are private, compliant, and designed to meet the highest standards for data protection and regulation.
Deepak Jain, Founder and CEO of Wink, added that the integration brings “unparalleled security, speed, and intelligence” to everyday transactions and sets the stage for the next generation of connected commerce across retail, hospitality, and large venues.
