ANDRITZ Adopts Komgo’s GTK to Digitize Trade Finance

ANDRITZ, a global leader serving the pulp and paper, metals, hydropower, and environment and energy sectors, has selected GTK (Global Trade Konnect) from Komgo as its new multi-bank trade finance platform. Known internally as “Global Trade by Komgo,” the solution is designed to accelerate ANDRITZ’s digital transformation and harmonize trade finance processes across the entire organization. With this new system, the company is centralizing the management of guarantees, letters of credit, and credit risk insurance into one secure, digital environment that connects seamlessly with financial institutions around the world.

The program is already live with three pilot entities and will eventually support 300 users across 40 countries. Through digital communication channels and automated workflows, ANDRITZ will streamline interactions with more than 30 financing partners, including banks, insurers, and brokers. The shift to one unified, structured system not only replaces previously fragmented processes, but also brings faster, safer, and more transparent execution of global trade activities.

Minna Helppi, SVP Group Finance at ANDRITZ, emphasized how GTK reinforces the company’s commitment to digitalization and operational excellence. She noted that the platform helps teams work smarter, remain aligned internationally, and benefit from modern tools that support strategic goals.

Across the organization, GTK is expected to deliver significant operational improvements. It introduces global consistency in trade finance management while reducing manual errors through automation. By improving data quality and providing deeper transparency, ANDRITZ teams can proactively monitor risks, deadlines, and credit exposures with greater confidence.

At the entity level, every legal unit will follow the same standardized workflows, gaining real-time visibility into credit line usage and approval stages. This reduces administrative burdens and frees employees to focus on value-driven activities.
