The Florida-based insurtech has announced it secured over $400 million in premium capacity for 2025, a notable jump from the $300 million it held the previous year. This boost signals growing confidence from the global insurance and reinsurance markets in Neptune’s data-driven approach to flood risk powered by its AI underwriting platform, Triton.

What makes this especially impactful is that this growth coincides with Neptune’s expansion into Alaska, completing its nationwide footprint. With this move, Neptune’s digital flood insurance products are now available in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., offering broader access to homeowners and c who need protection from increasingly unpredictable flooding events.

CEO Trevor Burgess noted that the $400M milestone isn’t just about numbers it’s about trust. “This level of capacity is a clear vote of confidence in our model. Triton is helping partners reduce risk and policyholders get affordable, fast flood protection,” he said.

The company’s panel now includes more than 30 partners ranging from global reinsurers to specialty carriers all backing Neptune’s tech-first flood coverage model. It’s a major validation of the company’s innovation in an industry historically slow to adapt.

For President Matt Duffy, this national rollout means something more: impact. “We’ve proven that flood insurance can be simple, digital, and accessible. With coverage now available coast to coast, we’re helping close the flood protection gap that has long left too many Americans vulnerable,” he said.

As climate risks continue to rise and federal programs face increasing strain, private solutions like Neptune’s are not only welcome they’re necessary. This expansion positions Neptune as a leader in the next era of climate-resilient insurance, where smart tech meets real-world needs.
