The financial institution Citi has entered into a referral arrangement with Network International, which is situated in Dubai, in order to provide omnichannel payment services to the bank’s business customers throughout the Middle East and Africa.
During the course of the previous year, Network International processed more than $59 billion in payment volumes for more than 130,000 merchants and over 1.6 billion transactions for more than 250 financial institutions. Network International works in more than 50 countries across the Middle East and other parts of Africa.
Under the terms of the referral arrangement, Citi will be able to provide its corporate clients with payment management services, which will include greater transaction efficiency, increased security, and possibilities for seamless integration, according to the company.

According to Vivek Vaidyanathan, who is the head of Citi Treasury & Trade Solutions for the Middle East and Pakistan, “We are able to offer seamless market-relevant payment experiences by collaborating with a leading regional player such as Network International.” This allows us to assist businesses in optimizing their marketplace payments, business-to-business, and direct-to-consumer transaction flows.
